Wrocław, a mid-sized city in the south west region of Poland- was one of our favourite cities we visited in the country- and also one of the hardest to pronounce! Even after planning our visit, spending a few days there, filming a vlog, and constantly reminiscing about it, we still find ourselves saying it incorrectly! 

In the past couple of years, since we started Delightful Travellers, we’ve had some amazing opportunities to stay at quite a few unbelievable places. However, staying at Kanonicza 22 in Kraków, Poland was definitely one of the most luxurious.

We recently travelled to Mexico with Sunwing Vacations to visit the beautiful Paradisus Playa Del Carmen. The Paradisus Playa Del Carmen is a relatively large resort, but it’s also easily walkable. It’s divided into two sections, Esmeralda, which is the family side- and La Perla, the adults only side- which is where we stayed. When you stay at La Perla you also get access to all the Esmeralda amenities.

We recently made our way from our hometown of Halifax, Nova Scotia (that's in Canada for those of you not from these parts) to Portland, Maine, via The CAT Ferry. Before departing, we decided to stay for a couple of nights in Yarmouth and Acadian Shores to see what was on offer. What we discovered, definitely surprised us, and we really hope you’ll take the opportunity to check it out for yourselves.

We recently had the opportunity to spend a fun and sun filled weekend in one of our favourite provinces, Prince Edward Island, thanks to Tourism PEI, Northumberland Ferries and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival. There really is no place like PEI in the summertime, it’s all about long, sunny days, endless blue skies, and frollicking in the warm waves.

We’ve always loved to travel. However, we used to only travel once or twice a year on quick holidays. This allowed us to splurge a bit more here and there, occasionally staying in fancy hotels along the way. However, in recent years, circumstances have allowed us to start travelling more. Last year we were on the road for approximately 12 weeks.

So, if I'm going to be completely forthright, half of me is dying to write this, and the other half of me never wants to speak to anyone about it ever again. Although Holbox (prounounced "hole-bosh") is becoming more and more popular each year, it’s still a bit of a hidden gem in Mexico (and I don't entirely want to blow the whistle on it!).

We travel A LOT (shocking I know), and we now have the packing process down to a craft. We have our favourite bags that include designated pockets for just about everything. As well, after many, many trips we have tons of favourite products that make our travels easier and more efficient. 

In all honesty, before we started planning our recent trip to Spain, we’d never even heard of the Costa Brava region before. In doing our research of where to visit in Spain, we came across this incredible place, and the more we read about it, the better it sounded. Turns out, it’s incredibly beautiful, magnificent and enchanting.

Our recent trip to China was fun, inspiring, and adventurous, it was truly a once in a lifetime trip that we’ll never, ever forget.  China is an absolutely beautiful country, so rich in both culture and history. However, at times we also found the country to be overwhelming and difficult to navigate.

If you’re looking to stay in Sanya, China you might initially find yourself a bit overwhelmed with all the myriad of options and areas to stay in. Sanya is a relatively large region in the very south of Hainan province in China. It’s relatively close to Thailand, Vietnam, and Cambodia and therefore shares their moderate, warm climate. 

South Beach (SoBe), in Miami can be a bit overwhelming with all the places to stay, eat and shop. So we’ve put together this list of some of our favourites in order to help you out. 

Normally while travelling, especially on longer trips- we try to be economical in our hotel choices. I often shop around various sites and try to find the best hotel for the best price. I’ll also frequently use the Priceline/Hotwire option of booking a cheaper rate without knowing where we’ll end up. That being said, once in awhile we like to splurge and really treat ourselves. 

What exactly is a beach club? I  found myself pondering this question on a recent trip to Tulum, Mexico. Based on other beach towns and Caribbean Islands that I’d previously visited, I always assumed that by designating itself a beach club, a business is offering up its beach space and services to the public (for fees or expectation of food and/or beverages purchases). In Tulum, however, this doesn’t necessarily ring true.
